Lagoon!

We went to Lagoon yesterday for America First Credit Union and I was able to bring Jayni and her two cute kids Elly and Toby! Andy and I had so much fun taking Elly on "scary" rides. Elly was so scared to go on Terror Ride but we took her anyways (which I feel kind of bad about) :) She had her hands over her eyes the whole time! It was so funny. Then we took her on Tidal Wave and her whole body shook when we rocked to the top! After putting her through that we decided that we would stop the scary rides and go on the Zoo train. Elly loved Puff and really wanted to ride with uncle Andy on it.
She was so excited and kept asking us "Is it our turn yet?" which happened every time the ride started to load more people. Puff took forever! But it was a hit with Elly and she loved it! Her favorite ride was Rattlesnake Rapids. She was so cute on the ride laughing and giggling and screaming! For some reason our side which consisted of Andy, me, and Elly got soaked! The other people didn't even get wet!

After all of that fun, and sitting in huge lines, the kids were tired so Jayni took them back to the house and had them take a nap. Andy and I went on more rides and met up with our friends Nicole and Scott and rode the Spider, Colossus, and other fun rides. Finally more of our friends showed up and we waited in line for the new ride "wicked". It was a long wait and right when we were at the top, the ride shut down! It was sad! So we went and ate dinner and Elly and Tobes came back with Jayni for dinner. Then we went on the Dragonfly which is the little kids version of the swings and Elly loved it. They had had enough so they went back home and we tried the Bat (which was not as fun as it looked :) ) and some other rides. Unfortunately I had felt sick all day and it was starting to really get worse. I don't know what was making me so sick, but I finally had to call it a night and go home.

I was miserable all night and my wonderful husband woke up this morning and got me some Canadian Dry soda and bananas. I rejected his offer stating that I hated green bananas (and boy were they green) but he lovingly made me eat the combination of the two and now I feel tons better. I still feel a little sick, but the ride to Lake Powell today won't be so horrible after all. Thanks sweetheart!

We will be in Lake Powell this whole week (wahoo!!!) So we will catch you up on that more when we get back!

Happy Birthday Andy!

Andy's birthday was yesterday and he turned 24! Although his birthday was on Friday the 13th he had a great birthday and it was really fun! We woke up early to open his presents because he couldn't wait, and I didn't want to wait either :)

We both had to work, but I surprised Andy with Cafe Rio for lunch and after work we met up with my sister Jayni and her kids Elly and Toby, and Andy's parents Scott and Tina, and his brother Ryan at Red Lobster to eat dinner. It was so yummy! Then we came back to our house and had a few friends over for Baskin Robbins ice cream cake! It was delicious! Then we went to the movie "What happens in Vegas" with our friends Justin and Jo and the movie was amazing. It is definitely one we will add to our collection! It was a wonderful day!

I just want to take a second to say how great my husband is. He cleaned the house yesterday for the party and it was his birthday! Then this morning he woke up early and made me breakfast! He is such a sweetheart and I love him so much. Happy birthday Andy! I love you!
